The Breast Center at CARTI features the most innovative technologies, including Genius 3D Mammography complete with a SmartCurve paddle for a more comfortable exam. 3D screenings are clinically proven to detect 20-65 percent more invasive breast cancers compared to 2D alone. Additionally, they allow for a faster exam, less time in compression and as much as a 40 percent reduction in radiation exposure. The SmartCurve paddle is curved like the breast, which allows for more comfortable compression and a more inclusive visualization of all of the breast tissue.
