- Papanicolaou Test (PAP Smear)
- Electrocardiogram: Records the heart’s electrical signals to detect potential problems and monitor its health.
- Vitamin D level: Measures the amount of vitamin D in a person’s blood.
- Carotid arteries ultrasound: Uses sound waves to examine the blood flow through the carotid arteries, which provide the brain’s blood supply.
- Full body CT scan with contrast (head, neck, chest, abdomen, and pelvis): Highlights the areas of the body being examined with a special dye called contrast material, while the CT scan uses rotating X-rays and computers to produce cross-sectional images or “slices” of the body.
- Complete Metabolic Panel (CMP): Provides information on a person’s blood sugar (glucose) levels, the balance of electrolytes and fluid, kidney health and liver function.
- Complete Blood Count (CBC): Measures the number of red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets to evaluate an individual’s overall health and detect a wide range of disorders, including anemia, infection and leukemia.
- Thyroid function tests: Blood tests that measures how well a thyroid gland is working.
- Lipid panel (cholesterol, triglycerides, and HDL ratio): A blood test that measures fats and fatty substances, including cholesterol, triglycerides, high-density lipoprotein (HDL) and low-density lipoprotein (LDL).
- A1c (Diabetes test): A blood test that measures an individual’s average blood sugar levels over the past three months.
- Urinalysis: Checks the appearance, concentration, and content of urine to detect and help manage a wide range of disorders, such as urinary tract infections, bilirubin level, kidney disease and diabetes.
- Stool test (kit mailed in advance): Looks at fecal matter for evidence of blood and potential medical conditions.
- Direct Bilirubin: Is a part of the total bilirubin measurement. Elevated levels may indicate liver disease.
- DEXA Bone density scan: Determines if a person has osteoporosis, a disorder characterized by bones that are more fragile and likely to break.
For males only:
- Prostate cancer test (PSA): A blood test that identifies PSA levels, which can indicate the presence of prostate cancer.
- Prostate exam (digital rectal): Checks the prostate for hard, lumpy, or abnormal areas.
For females only:
- CA 15-3 breast cancer marker test: A blood test that measurescancer antigen 15-3 (CA15-3), a protein made by a variety of cells, particularly breast cancer cells.
- Diagnostic mammogram: Takes an X-ray picture of the breast to look for in-depth signs of breast cancer.
- Papanicolaou Test (PAP Smear): The Papanicolaou test is a method of cervical screening used to detect potentially precancerous and cancerous processes in the cervix or colon.
